October 2, 2018

WHAT TIME IS IT? That's right! #YASH TIME!

Which of course means you get 4 days to access cool bonus features from your fave authors and a chance to win some excellent loot!

And speaking of excellent loot, here are three excellent ways to get your hands on a copy of HOW SHE DIED, HOW I LIVED and $50 at the bookstore of  your choice!

We're having a pre-order party for the book I have coming out next month--and you could win $50 at the bookstore of your choice!

It's super easy! Pre-order HOW SHE DIED, HOW I LIVED from any bookstore, take a photo of the receipt, upload it here!

My publisher is hosting a GIVEAWAY OF 10 copies on Goodreads! What have you got to lose? ENTER

If you are a book blogger or reviewer on AMAZON or GOODREADS contact me here, and I will send you an e-ARC of HOW SHE DIED, HOW I LIVED for review!

Girl in Pieces meets The Way I Used to Be in this poignant and thought-provoking novel about a girl who must overcome her survivor's guilt after a fellow classmate is brutally murdered.

I was one of five. The five girls Kyle texted that day. The girls it could have been. Only Jamie--beautiful, saintly Jamie--was kind enough to respond. And it got her killed.

On the eve of Kyle's sentencing a year after Jamie's death, all the other "chosen ones" are coping in various ways. But our narrator is full of anger, stuck somewhere between the horrifying past and the unknown future as she tries to piece together why she gets to live, while Jamie is dead.

Now she finds herself drawn to Charlie, Jamie's boyfriend--knowing all the while that their relationship will always be haunted by what-ifs and why-nots.

Is hope possible in the face of such violence? Is forgiveness? How do you go on living when you know it could have been you instead?

On this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize--one lucky winner will receive one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 120 hours!

Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are SIX contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or all! I am a part of the RED TEAM--but there are other teams, too, which can give you a chance to win a whole different set of books! On that page, you can also find links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs.

Directions: Below, you'll notice that I've listed my favorite number. Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the blue team, and then add them up (don't worry, you can use a calculator!).

Entry Form: Once you've added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by Oct. 7, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Today, I am hosting F.M. Boughan for the YA Scavenger Hunt!

F.M. Boughan is a bibliophile, a writer, and an unabashed parrot enthusiast. She can often be found writing in local coffee shops, namely because it’s hard to concentrate with a cat lying on the keyboard and a small, colorful parrot screaming into her ear. Her work is somewhat dark, somewhat violent, somewhat hopeful, and always contains a hint of magic.

Find out more information by checking out her website or find more about her book CINDERELLA'S INFERNO! She's also on Twitter, so give her a follow

Purity cannot abide the darkness.

In the two years since Ellison defeated her stepsisters and sent her evil stepmother back to the Abyss, she's gained control over her dark powers. And, with William at her side, she's brought peace to the kingdom. Still, Ellison is a necromancer and William is a paladin of light. The King will never agree to let them marry.

To appease his father, William keeps his distance. When Ellison's brother Edward is equally so, Ellison learns her mother’s spirit threatens to overwhelm him with her own loneliness and longing. In an effort to save him, Ellison accidentally condemns the spirit to eternal damnation. Seizing an opportunity to gain the king's favor and bring her family back together, Ellison resolves to descend into hell to bring her mother back to the world of the living.

But the journey through hell is fraught with peril. Temptations abound and the demons Ellison sent the Abyss are thirsty for revenge.

Evil cannot be defeated without sacrifice—but when that sacrifice means choosing between the ones Ellison loves and her very own life, how far will she go to make her family whole again?

F.M. Boughan is sharing a CINDERELLA'S INFERNO playlist, specifically arranged for the period in the book when my main character descends into hell on her quest. Here's the link!

And don't forget to enter the contest for a chance to win a ton of books by me, F.M. Boughan, and more! To enter, you need to know that my favorite number is 100. Add up all the favorite numbers of the authors on the red team and you'll have all the secret code to enter for the grand prize!
